We asked Nicole and Matthew about their wedding in Watson’s Bay …

How was your experience working with The Perfect Pair?

Fantastic, from initial booking to finished product I cannot speak more highly of them. I would and have actually already recommended them to our friends getting married. Nothing was to much trouble and there little touches like sending pop corn with the final DVD really made us smile.

Why was video important to you?

The day goes so quickly and now feels like a dream that it actually happened. We wanted to have something that we could watch again and again that captures all the special moments that you spend months planning.

Troy was fantastic. Lovely guy and for most part I didn’t even know he was there. He captured all the small details that everyone forgets, so it’s so great to watch it and remember everything that makes a wedding so special.
Tell us about other suppliers that you loved working with.
Our venue, Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel were amazing. From the accommodation we stayed in, to our wedding planner, to the chef coming to see us on the night. No detail was over looked and I’m a pretty detailed person.
What were your favourite moments from your wedding day?
Definitely walking down the aisle towards Matt and having our son sit oh so quiet in the front row watching us say our vows (he is only 2) Having all our friends and family together for such a great celebration of life and love. Our best man breaking out into song during his speech and all the guests singing along and then dancing the night away.
What advice would you give to couples planning their wedding?
Don’t sweat the small stuff like table decorations, name cards etc… No one remembers those but they do remember the venue, food and good times that are had. Enjoy every min of the planning process even the stressful stuff as before you know it, it’s all over.
